1.What does our HID CONVERSION KIT include?
Our HID (High Intensity Discharge) Conversion Kits include two (2) Direct-Plug HID Bulbs, two (2) Ballasts, and a upgrade wiring harness for motorized kits (upgrade for low beam kits).80% of HID Conversion Kits are plug and play, which is perfect for clean and accurate installation.

2.Will I need extra parts?

Extra parts: 80% of vehicles are plug and play, no extra parts required; 20% will require extra parts and labour(wiring)

  1. General motors-99% require nothing
  2. Japanese vehicles-99% require nothing
  3. Ford vehicles-90% require nothing
  4. Chrysler and European vehicles, All require extra parts and labour
   Dual filament kit (M2) requires

     (a) 4x LCM (load control module)
     (b) 1x HID-TPVR (variable resistor)
   Single filament kit resisor
     (a) 2x HID-LCM per kit (load control module)
     (b) 1x upgrade harness per kit, see chart below, Exception, if DRL is on high beam and you are only doing low beam
     (c) 1x HID-TPVR only used for high beam(variable resistor)

3.Wouldn't it be better for me to purchase a halogen bulb with higher wattage, instead of buying HID bulbs?
HID lamps are 35 watts, while standard halogen bulbs are 55 watts. Although, HID bulbs work with fewer watts, they still produce 3x more light. The higher wattage halogen bulb will be brighter than a 35W bulb but still much dimmer then the HID bulbs.

4.Why do I have to purchase the whole kit? Why can¡¯t I just order the HID bulbs?
Cars use a 12 Volt Electrical System for their headlights. HID systems use over 20,000 volts to ignite our bulbs. For this process to work, you must have ballasts which give the bulbs the required voltage.

5.What separates genuine Xenon gas-filled bulbs from Xenon HID?
HID uses new lighting technology that relies on an electrical charge to light the xenon gas contained in a sealed bulb. Unlike the halogen bulb, the HID bulb does not have a filament; because there is no filament the bulbs are not susceptible to vehicle vibration damage. Most companies do produce Xenon-filled halogen bulbs. These bulbs contain a filament and may look like HID light but have minimal increased lighting than standard halogen bulbs with the same voltage.

6.Will I be able to perform the installation myself?
Some installations are easier than others. Some HID kits are plug and play, while others require additional wiring. If you are unsure of the installation or have problems, please contact your BEAMERS HID representative or have your BEAMERS HID kit installed by a professional.

7. How long will your bulbs last?
Our bulbs are designed to out-last your car. When tested, an average of 2500 hours was given as the life of our bulbs.
